sans avoir préalablement amorcé le turbo avec de l'huile neuve

Procédure d'installation

Étape 1

Préparation du véhicule

  • Vidangez l'huile moteur et remplacez le filtre à huile
  • Laissez le moteur refroidir complètement avant intervention
  • Débranchez la batterie par mesure de sécurité
Étape 2

Dépose de l'ancien turbo

  • Débranchez les durites d'huile (arrivée et retour)
  • Débranchez les durites d'admission et d'échappement
  • Débranchez le connecteur électrique de la wastegate (si applicable)
  • Retirez les écrous/boulons de fixation du turbo
  • Déposez délicatement le turbo usagé
Étape 3

Nettoyage et vérifications

  • Nettoyez soigneusement les canalisations d'huile
  • Vérifiez l'état du collecteur d'échappement (pas de fissures)
  • Contrôlez l'échangeur air/air (intercooler) et les durites
  • Nettoyez ou remplacez le filtre à air
  • Vérifiez qu'il n'y a pas de débris dans le conduit d'admission
Un mauvais nettoyage peut endommager irrémédiablement votre nouveau turbo
Étape 4

Amorçage du nouveau turbo

  • Utilisez la seringue d'amorçage fournie avec votre turbo
  • Remplissez la seringue d'huile moteur neuve
  • Injectez l'huile par l'arrivée d'huile du turbo
  • Faites tourner manuellement la roue de compresseur pour répartir l'huile
  • Répétez l'opération jusqu'à ce que l'huile sorte par le retour
CRITIQUE : Cette étape est indispensable pour éviter la casse du turbo au premier démarrage
Étape 5

Montage du nouveau turbo

  • Positionnez les joints neufs (fournis avec le turbo)
  • Installez le turbo et serrez les écrous/boulons au couple préconisé
  • Utilisez les goujons/écrous neufs fournis
  • Rebranchez les durites d'huile (arrivée et retour)
  • Rebranchez les durites d'admission et d'échappement
  • Rebranchez le connecteur électrique
Étape 6

Premier démarrage

  • Remplissez le moteur avec de l'huile neuve (qualité recommandée par le constructeur)
  • Rebranchez la batterie
  • Mettez le contact SANS démarrer pendant 10 secondes (amorçage pompe à huile)
  • Démarrez le moteur et laissez-le tourner au ralenti
  • Attendez 5 minutes minimum avant de solliciter le turbo
  • Vérifiez l'absence de fuites d'huile et d'échappement
Les 1000 premiers kilomètres, évitez de solliciter le turbo à fond

Pour une longue durée de vie

Huile de qualité

Utilisez toujours une huile de qualité conforme aux préconisations constructeur

Vidanges régulières

Respectez les intervalles de vidange (10 000 km max pour les turbodiesel)

Temps de refroidissement

Laissez tourner le moteur 30 secondes au ralenti avant de couper après un trajet soutenu

Filtre à air

Remplacez régulièrement le filtre à air pour protéger la roue de compresseur
